RISK MANAGEMENT

Financial risk transfers from the client when an outside entity agrees to build a defined scope of work for a specified amount.  With ever increasing pressure to reduce project delivery times, it is not uncommon for the client to commit to building a project based on a “good faith estimate” rather than a guaranteed cost at which point client risk increases dramatically.

The Arctecon process involves all required disciplines with knowledge of all work in context to the whole project.  We apply our specialized expertise working in concert from day one of the project. This process produces valid results in less time, which allows Arctecon to provide early price guarantees based on better information.  Both reduce client risk.  In most cases, we can develop a GMP (guaranteed maximum price) during the Project Definition (planning) phase of the project.  This allows our clients to proceed with the project with the confidence that their project will not exceed the approved budget and schedule.
